Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Major: Food Science, Pharmacy and biotechnology, chemical Engineering, Agriculture
Experience: 10 - 15 years of experience preferably in F&B industry
MBA will be an addition
Understand market and consumer trends
Innovation process management knowledge
Recipe management knowledge
Product and process design knowledge
Raw materials functionality knowledge
Quality and food safety awareness
Scientific and regulatory affairs awareness
Job Description
- Lead Continuous improvement activities and ensure products
consistently meet all food safety and legal requirements and consumer
relevant quality expectations, as measured by the quality KPIs.
- Assess the scope of research projects and ensure they are on
time and within budget.
- Develop research programs incorporating current developments
to improve existing products and study the potential of new products.
- Develop the raw materials and implement
Function processes.
- Research,
design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment
considering the production processes, and utilize all necessary equipment
for the research purpose.
- Establish
and maintain testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in-process,
and finished products.
- Establish
project goals and priorities by collaborating with Marketing and
Operations.
- Determine
and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and
customers.
- Coach,
develop, and engage the New Product Development team.
- Build strong relation with the Management
Committee.
- Build strong relation with the Global New
Product Development team.
