Regulatory and Supplier Development Manager

To ensure that our Regulatory System is consistently applied throughout the factory and other units in the value chain under the factory responsibility. FRONERI is looking to hire a Regulatory and Supplier Development Manager to drive FRONERI's Continuous Excellence and take part in bringing happiness to our consumers and customers.

Job Description


  • Investigate all deviation in their workplace and ensure appropriate implementation to prevent their recurrence.
  • Ensure changes that may impact SHE are assessed and controlled.  
  • Ensure periodic communications with their team on SHE.
  • Ensure compliance to protect the brand and the consumer - Provide input for innovation projects (approve recipe, raw materials specs, packaging artwork, claims, finished product specs,..etc), as well as for renovation.
  • Advice to other functions (marketing, sales, production, procurement, legal, import/export).
  • Advocacy and represent the company towards governmental bodies (CFI, EOS, NFSA, Health authorities, import & export, gulf municipalities, SFDA, ESMA, Eu commission, Codex committee ,..etc).
  • Keep track on changes in legislations and decrees, either local or global.
  • Translate regulations into a set of rules to fit all markets.
  • RA audits on marketed products and raw materials.
  • Performing supplier audits to all the raw and pack suppliers according to the supplier auditing program. Communicating all the audit results to the stakeholders. 
  • Ensuring that all the supplier complaints are adequately communicated and handled. 
  • Performing distribution centers and distributor audits according to the DC auditing plan. Supporting the DCs to get into NFSA white list of warehouses.
  • Performing regular market visits to ensure that complaints raised due to cold chain issues are properly handled.

Requirements


Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science or Pharmacy

Major: Science or Pharmacy

Experience: 7 - 10 years of experience

Knowledge of Egyptian standards, NFSA regulations, ministry laws, as well as international CODEX, EU regulations, Gulf countries regulations such as GSO, SFDA and EMSA.

Knowledge in food safety (Food Safety courses)

Aware of specification, recipe and compliance management processes.

Knowledge in SHE in a laboratory environment (SHE course).

Knowledge of 5S principles.

Knowledge of product category (product seminar, college).

Aware of specification, recipe and compliance management processes.

Aware of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP Course).

Aware of validation of analytical methods (VAM course).

Competent in statistical process control (SPC course).

Competent in Quality Management (Quality alignment course).

Competent in ISO 22000 (Lead assessor course).

Competent of HACCP (HACCP course).

Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated capability to lead a group.
