Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related field.
Major: Accounting , Business administration or Logistics
Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within FMCG industry.
Strong analytical and statistical capabilities
Solid understanding of manufacturing, transportation and warehousing
Excellent Use of Microsoft Office
Understanding of e-business / e-procurement systems
Job Description
- Prepare MRP process for all local and imported materials that ensure continues availability of direct materials by defining the requirements and stock policy to be applied.
- Define MRP parameters includes: BOM, ROP, lead time, MOQ, batch size and lot size.
- Create an optimized replenishment plan for raw and
packaging materials over 18 months horizon that ensures the effective supply to
production process.
- Monitor signals of demand/supply through purchase
requisition ensuring delivery dates and required quantities.
- Responsible for creating and communicating purchase
orders and follow up with the supplier till fulfilling the order perfectly.
- Manage day to day materials deliveries to optimize
inventory levels, warehouse utilization and ensure the optimization of working
capital and achieving targets for raw and packaging materials.
- Manage directly with the defined supplier the delivery
of required documents: this includes creating, sending, confirming, receiving,
investigating errors and discrepancies in blocked or parked invoice.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier service level.
- Build a good supplier relationship that keeps good
communications that insures perfect supplier service level.
- Identify a materials risk assessment plan that defines
threats, and opportunities during the coming 18 months. and create effective
plan to catch opportunities, or to avoid/mitigation risks.
- Monitor and highlight the shelf life expiration and
slow-moving items for all R&P materials and discuss the results with the cross
functional team to avoid any destruction that might occur.
- Ensure proper implementation for the sustainability
projects in order to be always compliant with the global standards (Human rights,
Environment , Health).
- Support the new product development from the concept
phase till being launched.
- Regular check the contract expiry and communicate it
with the procurement manager.
